Disk Inventory X is a disk space analyzer utility for Mac OS X 10.3 and later. Inspired by WinDirStat, it shows the sizes of files and folders in a graphical treemap.
DiskInventoryX 1.0 for Mac is available as a free download on our application library. The following version: 1.0 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. Our built-in antivirus scanned this Mac download and rated it as 100% safe. The program lies within System Tools, more precisely File Managers. Disk Inventory X is noteworthy because it also runs on macOS. So, why GrandPerspective? Well, as you may have guessed it's a fun little coding project and I needed to pick something to code on my new Mac Mini. Having said that, it does have a few things going for it.
Google maps for mac os. Version 1.3 of Disk Inventory X added support for macOS 10.15 Catalina, while the earlier version 1.2 added support for macOS 10.14 Mojave and its dark mode feature.
Reception[edit]
- Mark Frauenfelder, founder of Boingboing, wrote in his book, Rule the Web: how to do anything and everything on the Internet—better, Disk Inventory X was his favorite way of uncovering disk-hogging files.[2]
- Download.com gave it 4 out of 5.[3]
